Melissa Sikes is the Water Management Assistance Program (WMAP) Coordinator in the Active Management Area (AMA) section at the Arizona Department of Water Resources (ADWR). She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sustainability (Ecosystems) from Arizona State University. At ADWR, Melissa administers grants for groundwater conservation and augmentation. Being born and raised in Arizona, Melissa decided to dive into the water field because it is Arizona’s most valuable resource and she wants to be a part of the solution to conserve it for generations to come.
