PfaRD Student Survey

The purpose of this student survey is to assess student learning due to their participation in the Planting for a Rainy Day (PfaRD) Unit of Study. Teachers should administer the questionnaire before starting any of the lessons and then again after completing the last lesson.

Please tell students that the pre-survey is not a test, and they may or may not know the answers. Students will need about half an hour to complete the questionnaire. Please administer the post-program survey no more than four weeks after the completion of the unit of study. The post-survey can be used to grade the unit if you so wish.

This process is very important as our programs are available free of charge to our teachers and students, due to the generous funding provided by our sponsors and we use these surveys to create an impact report of the program to demonstrate knowledge gain and that we are meeting the objectives of the program.

Please ensure your students take the correct survey (pre/post) based on the columns below.
