I am a nature enthusiast and a passionate and creative environmental educator who hopes to inspire positive change towards a more sustainable future. I was born and raised in southern California, but was very fortunate to be able to study, volunteer, and even work abroad, while traveling to many amazing places. This gave me a special awareness for celebrating diversity and understanding how even though we all have unique characteristics, we are all truly connected by nature and the things we need to survive. No matter where one lives in the world, water plays a vital role in sustaining all life on our planet. I have always been enamored with desert ecosystems and that life can thrive in such an extreme environment but moving to Arizona has given me an even greater appreciation for the need of teaching water stewardship.
I hold a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and have over 12 years of experience as an environmental educator. I enjoy sharing my love and awe of the natural world with everyone I meet and believe by using nature as our guide, we can restore our disconnected relationships to each other and to our environment, instilling wonder and inspiration to take personal actions to create a positive impact in our world. I am very excited to be part of the Arizona Project WET team and to help educate our next generations of water stewards
