You will find me...
You can find me dancing like a water molecule with students and educators at one of our Water Festivals. You can also find me playing kickball with my friends at a random Tucson Park, birding at Sweetwater Wetlands, or meandering around downtown looking for some tasty food!
Why Water?
Water is life! As inhabitants of the Sonoran Desert, water is particularly precious to everything and everyone. The ways in which life and the land interacts with water here is truly incredible. Therefore, what better way to spread the importance and wonder of water than by engaging with the greater Arizona community in hands-on water education.
“Water does not resist. Water flows. When you plugin your hand into it, all you feel is a caress. Water is not a solid wall, it will not stop you. But water always goes where it wants to go, and nothing in the end can stand against it. Water is patient. Dripping water wears way a stone. Remember that, my child. Remember you are half water. If you can’t go through an obstacle, go around it. Water does.” – Margaret Atwood
